Brief introduction
HFGEL-120-K  polymer grade organic clay is the organic amine derivatives of high purity montmorillonite, mainly used for polymers modification such as EVA, PU, EP and so on. It can improve the dynamic properties, dimensional stability, HDT, gas resistance properties and flame resistance properties of polymer, whose application properties are similar to Nanomer 1.30P.

  It is used for polymer twin screw like EVA melting, squeezing, modifying composite materials such as EP, PU and so on.
Generally we use a two-step melting extrusion modifying. In the first step we use maleic anhydride or polyolefin grafted from acrylic to make masterbatch with 40-50% of montmorillonite; In the second step we use homopolymer PP, PE to dilute the above masterbatch to about 4-6% montmorillonite, and use double screw melting to get out, which should have a bigger ratio of length / diameter as far as possible and high shear screw structure. The temperature of melting should not be too high, in order to keep the polymer in the extrusion process achieve higher shear strength to make the layers of montmorillonite exfoliated. Screw extruder should have vacuum exhaust system to timely discharge gases which can be generated in the process of extrusion. Resin like PU, EP can first stir the organic clay at a high speed or heat dispersedly the resin in the pre polymer degassing and then cross chain welding, so that the layer of montmorillonite can reach dispersion of nanometer.
Brown paper packages plus internal polyethylene film bags, or paper packages with valve mouths are used. The weight of each package is generally 25±0.25kg according to customer demands. Keep it in dry places with the temperature of 0~30℃. The quality is valid for 24 months.
