Brief introduction
BS-1C-FJ organic clay is organic montmorillonite with high purity containing carboxyl group organic ammonium modification. It is specifically used for PA polymer modification and PET, PBT and other high polymer modification. On the basis of the high surface / thickness ratio of montmorillonite lamellar and the interaction between polymer chain and montmorillonite lamellar, it can significantly improve the dynamic properties of polymer such as tensile strength, bending strength and modulus, meanwhile it can also improve HDT, dimensional stability and gas resistance properties of oxygen, carbon dioxide, water vapor and other gases, ultraviolet absorption properties and flame resistance properties. The application properties of this product is similar to Nanomer 1.24TL.

  It is specially used for PA polymer and highly polar polymer modification such as PBT, PET.
Original polymerization: Disperse organic montmorillonite powder into the monomer melt or liquid. Make it fully dispersed by high-speed shear or sand milling. Then do the polymerization according to the convention.
Double screw melt extrusion modification: make the organic clay powder and the polymer pellets or powder fully mixed, or add quantitative organic clay powder directly to the inlet of double screw extruder; Control the temperature at each stage and screw speed, get melt extruded. The Amount of organic clay is generally 3-5% of the polymer.
The double screw machine should have a bigger ratio of length / diameter as far as possible and high shear screw structure. The melting temperature should not be too high, to keep the polymer in the extrusion process achieve higher shear strength in order to make montmorillonite layers exfoliated.
Screw extruder should have vacuum exhaust system to timely discharge gases which can be generated in the process of extrusion and guarantee the quality of the squeezed materials.
Brown paper packages plus internal polyethylene film bags, or paper packages with valve mouths are used. The weight of each package is generally 25±0.25kg according to customer demands. Keep it in dry places with the temperature of 0~30℃. The quality is valid for 24 months.
