Brief introduction
BS-1C-2  is an organic derivative of a bentonite clay，second generation of BS-1C. This rheological additive is designed for low to  medium polarity organic solvent system, such as mineral oil, paraffin oil, toluene, xylene, 200# solvent oil. The performance of BS-1C-2 is similar to Claytone 40.

　　 BS-1C-2  organic bentonite as thickener, anti-settling agent and rheological agent is widely used in the field of mixed paint, floor paint, putty, marine paint, primer paint, anti-corrosion paint, adhesive glue, seal gum, printing ink, grease and so on.
BS-1C-2  can be added directly to the resin/solvent blend and mixed in room temperature thoroughly, The pigments and fillers are added and dispersed with high shear or grind. The chemical activators can be methanol/H2O（95/5）, ethanol/H2O（95/5）, propylene carbonate, or acetone.
